All about Exchanges and how it works

We attempt to help organisations make contact with their counterparts in our twinned cities. Hospitality and travel costs are normally met by the exchanging groups. Many successful exchanges have taken place involving such organisations as Exeter Flying Club, Exeter Camera Club, Exeter Rowing Club, Southernhay United Reformed Church, EXCEL Ladies, Exeter Festival Chorus, Alphington Combined School and Exeter Rotary Club.

Official Exchange Visits

We are responsible for organising a regular programme of official twinning exchanges with Rennes, Bad Homburg and Terracina. These take the form of group visits and are open to all members, who we hope are able to reciprocate with hospitality for incoming visitors. Visit programmes include a mixture of formal and informal events providing a much better insight into the life and culture of our twinned towns than you would normally get from the usual tourist trip.
